Mission

SLSS’s mission is to provide more than just counseling; a place to evaluate your overall wellness, stress, and resiliency needs. Our goal at SLSS is to provide a space where individual and family brain wellness needs are met on a variety of levels via individual outpatient therapy. The foundation for quality services is our core values: Brain wellness, integrity, and community enrichment. We recognize that “life” happens and our thoughts and feelings can get in the way of enjoying our journey.

Vision

SLSS has the vision to provide formal therapeutic, evidence-based services with an informal feel.​

 

  • Our second location on Mountville Drive is situated in a small brick home decorated with flowers, plants, music, and a coffee/tea bar. Quality treatment is conducted in comfort.

Brain Wellness.

“Brain wellness” insinuates, like physical health, that check-ups and wellness checks for our brain are key to overall health and enjoyment in life. SLSS believes in the concept of regular brain check-ins and thought/feeling analysis to maintain a healthy lifestyle. SLSS believes that physical wellness and brain wellness need to be bridged together. SLSS is unique because we utilize our own “wellness screener” as part of our intake assessment. Based on research, our therapist-built assessment establishes this value as a priority in your treatment.

  • SLSS works with the Lebanon County Suicide Prevention Task Force, participates in various community activities and events, and has an active role in Connected Together for Lebanon County.
  • SLSS works closely with staff, teachers, and students at Northern Lebanon School District in order to foster mental health awareness and support.
